The charity quilt I made last year finally got quilted up, and is ready to donate. I brought it to show-and-tell at our March quilt guild meeting: here’s my daughter holding it up so I could take a picture of it. It will be donated to the Smile Quilt program, which provides a snuggly quilt to a seriously ill child in the local hospital.
I like how it turned out, with the blocks staggered on alternate rows. I would make one like this again.
On the back, the flannel fabric was obviously printed in another country. It is covered with traffic signs, and “Yield” is misspelled as “Yeild”!
